調整開始

Dear all, HK market is an early bird, and so HK stocks fall first before Europe and the US. The subprime problem looks like spreading and the Yen reaches the 119 level, then the new house sales in US fall sharply, so as I have said in my Thursday column, the correction is coming. Besides fasten our seat belt, we can wait for bargain hunting. I don't think the game is finished, the bulls are stll alive. I am writing an essay on Afganistan, try to explain how the crisis game is going on. Cheers. Peter

I've decided to sell all of my stocks in the morning after reading Peter's document. However, I felt I was too sensitive when I saw the stock prices were rising afterwards. I realized that I did the right move now ... so contradicting ... Anyway, I need to say a 'thanks' to Peter.

股神為甚麼減持中石油?



畢菲特減持中石油 (2007-07-27 19:00:03)

據聯交所資料顯示,中石油(0857)於7月12日遭股神畢菲特以每股平均價12.441元減持1690萬股,套現約2.1025億元,持股量由11.05%降至10.96%。按畢菲特於2003年4月向聯交所申報資料顯示,他當年購入中石油股份的每股平均價為1.61-1.67元。

會唔會純為套現?卡夫市值4000億港元,就算只買1%都要40億。賣少少857套現2億真係不足為奇。
我想知佢係咪只減持857,抑或其他股都有減持。

據外電引述消息指,美國股神畢菲特的投資旗艦巴郡,上月購入卡夫食品(Kraft
Foods)少於5%股權;由於華爾街狙擊手艾肯(Carl Icahn)及佩爾茲(Nelson Peltz),上
月向卡夫管理層施壓,要求出售麥斯威爾(Maxwell)咖啡業務,未知畢菲特態度如何。

卡夫食品擁有多個知名的品牌,包括咖啡品牌麥斯威爾、OREO和RITZ餅乾,以及
PHILADELPHIA奶油起司。

本公司、順豪資源及華大地產董事會聯合公,買方(華大地產之全資附屬公司)已於二零零七年四月十八日與賣方簽訂合約,據此,賣方同意出售及買方同意收購寶靈頓道三十號、三十二號、三十四號、三十六號、三十八號及四十號,代價為230,000,000港元。該物業之地盤面積約4,209平方呎。

鑒於現時有利之市況(由香港之強勁經濟狀況及香港蓬勃之旅遊及零售業反映出來),董事會認為該收購為本集團(包括華大地產及其各自之附屬公司)之收購良機,可以合理價格(每平方呎約3,642港元之樓面價)於銅鑼灣心臟地帶收購一項龐大之商業及零售物業。本集團現正有意重建該物業為一座具二百六十間客房之酒店。該收購將由內部資源及對外借貸提供資金。
